1,000 Books before kindergarten

Town & Country Public Library is now participating in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Please stop by the circulation desk to sign up. While the concept of this program is simple, the rewards are priceless. Sharing a love of reading at a young age can help children gain the confidence to become strong readers.

To take part in this program, make sure to check out Library books. We recommend downloading the 1000 Books app to track your progress. Click here to download the iPhone app or click here to download the Android app.

As an alternative to the app, you can also print the reading logs below. You can also take a picture of your reader holding a sign and share to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) with the hashtag #1000BooksB4K. Stop by the circulation desk at 500 and 1000 books completed for a special reward! Program instructions are available here.
